Whether you need to keep track of time or a pick-me-up from hours of traversing Wonderland, this crate combines the timeless tale with a Victorian twist.
Lit-Cube in General
If you never heard of this monthly box, a theme is given to match that of the current book. Along with reading material the box comes with accessories like something to eat or wear. The boxes are $34.95 a month, but always provides.
Appearance
It’s been a while since I got Lit-Cube but the change in design of the outside and inside of the box is refreshing.
Each crate comes with a card with a design on the front and the back informing of each item in the box.
Book: Curiouser and Curiouser
Alice in Wonderland with a Steampunk feel is the reason I bought this box. I’m all for a retelling of an original story but with a twist (the Lunar Chronicles being a good example.)
Upon reading the back I thought this may be a sequel and I missed something, but it’s actually the first story in a series. However I’m looking forward to diving in and based on reviews many like it.
Accessories
These are the side items that match the theme of the box.
Aromatherapy Smelling Salts
It has a nice lemon smell and I’m all for smelling salts.
Old Fashioned Watch Necklace
Love the design on the front and the watch actually works, which should be obvious but I’ve received these types of necklaces in boxes before without a watch or it didn’t work.
Queen of Hearts Rose Tea and Tea Infuser
I’m up for trying anything and am excited to try the tea. As for the infuser, I got a bit more excited than expected. The amount of teas from boxes but no infuser. The tea also smells nice.
Overall
I can’t imagine the tea and salts making everyone happy, but this is a crate for me. I’m looking forward to reading the book and actually using a working pocket watch. You can get the box separately from the monthly subscription.
This box looks amazing! And the infuser really is genius to add to a box.
I honestly had to go hunt two down myself because of all the tea I had collected through subscription boxes without ever getting an infuser, haha.
The book itself sounds like a must-read as well. Definitely adding this to my TBR so I can check it out sometime.

I know right! I’m surprised more boxes don’t sent infusers with their tea.
And the book is relatively short. Just a little over 200 pages if you need a quick read 🙂

At least once every couple of months would be a good thing! And there are so many original infusers out there that they can go all the way with those as well.
Oh, awesome! That’s definitely good to know!
