Because I am far behind on posting about the numerous new movies/shows/games within the last month, here’s a quick run-down of what I liked the most.
Like I said, there’s a lot I wanted to talk about but just wasn’t in the blogging spirit. At this point I have a lot of other topics I want to get into, so instead of getting too far behind, here’s a list of my favorites throughout June…with minimal detail because I literally cannot do a blog post that is just a list.
1.) Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger
This show did a Runaways: I didn’t expect to like it (as much.) I am a fan of the character Cloak so that peaked my interest, and read some comics with Cloak and Dagger but not them specifically, however, their abilities do intrigue me. I’m glad I started watching and there’s much more to it than I originally gave Freeform credit for.

2.) The Incredibles II
Why take your children to a movie if they’re going to constantly ask questions about the said movie and move around all over the place? That was my experience. They even had the whole theater to sit in…

I waited fourteen years for this and it was worth it.
3.) The Sims 4: Seasons
I’m a pretty big Sim player, despite not talking about it a lot. I just like creating storylines and playing them…for myself. Anyway, I wasn’t disappointed by the Sims before Seasons came out, but it’s such a big game-changer, and now I can’t imagine playing without rain constantly making my Sims uncomfortable despite using umbrellas.

4.) Sense8 Series Finale
This may not be the end of Sense8 (if another network decides to take it on) but considering there was a lot to wrap up in under three hours, and what normally takes a whole season to do, I’m happy with how it turned out (for the most part.) Storylines got wrapped up, everyone came together, and of course, it ended with a massive orgy.

5.) Voltron (Season 6)
I already posted a review about the current season, but to get to the point: this may be one of my favorite seasons of the show yet. Questions are answered, theories are put to rest, and I can finally stop questioning Lotor’s motives.

6.) Ozzy and Jack’s Road Detour (Season 3)
I RARELY talk about reality shows and RARELY watch any that don’t involve cooking, but I enjoyed watching last season and now that Kelly is involved it does give something extra to the show. Plus, it’s beyond amusing.

Honorable Mentions
- Runaways: Find Your Way Home
- Queer Eye (Season 2)
- Dorothy Must Die
Next week I’ll be back to my regularly scheduled…schedule.
I haven’t seen Cloak and Dagger before but I’ve seen the trailer and it seems interesting! I’m a sim player too but I haven’t tried the seasons yet! I’m kinda ditch that game for My Time at Portia, it’s addictive!!

I honestly thought Cloak and Dagger might turn out as a sappy teen drama but I’m pleasantly surprised of the depth it has.
And I’ve seen a lot of people play My Time at Portia so it must be pretty fun 😊

I’m gonna try watch it soon! And you have to play My Time at Portia if you love Harvest Moon/Stardew Valley but with a better graphic and more complex quests!
