Top 6: Marvel Movies

With Avengers: Endgame nearing, here are my favorites Marvel movies so far.

I have to admit I haven’t seen ALL Marvel movies, like Ant-Man, Logan, or Captain Marvel, but this still turned out to be harder than I expected.

And these are my personal favorites.

1.) The Captain American Trilogy

Rather than taking up three different spots on the list, I decided to round them up, and take number one. The First Avenger was the first movie I watched in this new era of Marvel movies, but I’d put Winter Soldier as my favorite out of the three. It has two of my favorite couples, Steve and Peggy and Steve and Bucky, and I like watching Cap’s character grow.

And my crush on Chris Evans has nothing to do with this…

2.) The Avengers

I remember seeing this in theaters with my friends and loving every minute of it. Although I grew up watching X-Men and Spiderman, I wasn’t into superhero movies that much. This was the movie that changed it for me. It’s one of those I’ve seen a hundred times (I’m not exaggerating) and still enjoy it.

3.) Guardians of the Galaxy

My sister and I saw this in theaters and aftward I asked if she liked it and when she said, “It was okay,” I was shocked because I loved it. I love that it took place in a different galaxy with different races and they weren’t “typical heroes” but stole and killed to get where they are and in the end came together to save everyone.

4.) Thor: Ragnarok

I didn’t see this until AFTER Infinity War and I can’t believe it took me that long. I think it’s because I saw Thor: The Dark World in theaters and didn’t like most of it, so I decided to wait. I love the change in Thor’s character. It wasn’t much, I think he always had a humorous side but it wasn’t brought out enough.

Also, I don’t know how many times I would get frustrated with Thor’s powers. I always expected him to be more powerful and to see them come out in full force made me so happy.

5.) X-Men & X2

X-Men was my first introduction into the superhero world. I remember wanting to be a mutant so bad (I still do.) I even enjoy the second one. Sure, they have their moments whether it’s the CGI, stupid lines, or the characters come off too whiney (looking at you Cyclops) but that doesn’t matter in this post. Despite those moments, I still like (MOST OF) the characters. Even in The Last Stand, there were moments that were pretty good (not enough to make it on the list but still.)

6.) Black Panther

I love how different Black Panther is to other Marvel movies. I like the backstory of Wakanda and the characters, but what put it up there is the villain. I like that you understand his motives, even though extreme, he changed T’Challa’s mind in the end.

I haven’t seen Into the Spider-Verse yet but it’s on my to-watch list. And I’d definitely recommend the first Avengers to anyone not interested/just starting out with the Universe. And Black Panther is great 🙂

I’m not the biggest Marvel movie fan but I have to admit…. I looooooved Black Panther! Which is maybe why I liked it so much, because it’s so unlike every other Marvel movie. But I loved the whole history of Wakanda, the characters, the empowering women… and I do kind of want to see Into the Spider-verse. Now you have me admitting I like Marvel way more than I do, haha! Anyway, this was such a fun post!!

I don’t know if I’d be into superhero movies as I am if I didn’t watch them when I was little. But yes, I love Black Panther and how much it changed up Marvel movies. Maybe you’ll find some more you’ll like 🙂

Great list. My favourite is either Guardians of the Galaxy (if only for the spundtrack!) or Thor: Ragnarok. But I do love Cap and his relationship with both Peggy and Bucky – that’s the perfect bromance – and Red Skull was a great villain! Ah, it’s so hard to choose. I haven’t seen Homecoming, Captain Marvel, Ant Man and The Wasp or Black Panther yet.

The list was a lot harder to make than I thought and I’m pretty sure I forgot some movies (Hellboy 2004 being one of them.) There’s so many to keep up with.

But I’d definitely recommend Black Panther if you get the chance 🙂

What do you think of the Spider-Man movies? 🙂 (Sam Raimi trilogy/Amazing Spiderman 1 & 2…and MCU’s take with Tom Holland)

Spider-Man is a favourite character of mine and I’m sure you’ll enjoy the recent one now (Spider-Man: Far from Home) 🙂

I was 7 when the first Spider Man came out so as cliche as it sounds, I grew up with that triology (but to be honest, I don’t remember much of the third except when people make fun of it.)

I didn’t watch the Amazing Spider Man and never had an interest in it.

But I really enjoy Tom Holland as Spider-Man and enjoyed Homecoming. I haven’t seen the new one yet but I’m looking forward to it. I prefer him over everyone else, but still enjoy the Sam Raimi movies 🙂

Likewise. I grew up with the Sam Raimi movies so they will always have a soft corner in my heart.

The Amazing Spiderman…pretty okay at best but the second movie was a mess.

Tobey Maguire will always be Spider-Man to me (Tom is more of an Iron Lad) but yeah, Homecoming was great. And Far from Home is easily one of the best Spider-Man movies ever made.

Hope you enjoy it. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the movie. Maybe it’ll make your list someday 😀

Great compilation. Cheers from Bangalore (Y)
