May 2019 Roundup + Favorites

Favorites and what I’ve been up to this month.

I usually do a Top 6 list at the end of every month but decided to do something different where I talk about what I did during the month while including all my posts as well as favorites and write down my goals for the next month and at the end of next month, we’ll see if I accomplished them.

Personal

I can honestly say, not much happened this month. I took one of my two weeks of vacation from work which was originally for my trip to Canada but after getting an editor for my book, couldn’t afford to go. My sister’s college graduation occurred and we went to the Pittsburgh Zoo for a day.

I got a helix ear piercing, which I wanted for years but was scared it would hurt too much. This is coming from someone with six tattoos.

The only other thing I have to talk about is work, which is getting into the busy season and we’re severely understaffed. I hope to keep up with my blog but hopefully, it won’t be too stressful.

It was also my birthday on the 21st and I worked. It was a great day.

Favorites

These are the things I enjoyed but didn’t have time to talk about.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 11

I have a shirt that says, “Vanjie…Vanjie…Vanjie…” Needless to say, I was excited that Vanjie returned and got the opportunity to compete. I was also not expecting her thing with Brook Lynn, which I also enjoyed watching. Overall, I liked the season but in the beginning, I swear I couldn’t remember half of the Queens.

Attack on Titan Season 3 Part 2

I wasn’t aware the season returned in April so I had to get caught up but I’ve been enjoying it so far. I’m curious to see where it goes since I’m not this far in the manga and there have been a few twists in there that I wasn’t expecting.

4Ocean

4Ocean is a line of bracelets made out of recycled materials and each purchase helps keep the oceans/waters clean as well as helping different causes. My mom got me one for my birthday, specifically for marine nurseries. They’re only $20 and are a great cause.

Final Space Season 2 Trailer

This came at the last minute to be part of this post. I’m really excited to see what happens after the cliffhanger last season. I’m curious to see if it goes along with the original Final Space video Olan created a few years ago and Gary gets the chance to go back.

I also need to get my own Mooncake plushie.

Cody Ko

I want to thank Jake Paul for being the dumbass that he is and introducing many people to this Youtuber. I went through a binge of his videos and couldn’t stop laughing for an hour.

June Goals

  • follow the Blogilates Summer Sculpt Program all the way through (I may do a post about this after it’s over)
  • eat better holy shit Meagan
  • finish editing my book and start researching book covers for self-publishing
  • get back into meditating before bed

As far as June goes, I don’t have much planned since some coworkers are going on vacation so I’ll be stuck at work most of the time. It is Pride month so I plan on doing a post about that and I have Pittsburgh Pride to look forward to.

Until the next.
