Who wouldn’t want to know 73 things about me?
This feels so similar to the post I did on my birthday when I gave 25 Facts About Me, a post no one asked for and has little to do with the niche of my blog…so here’s another one!
But seriously, I thought about doing something like this a few months ago when I reached 700 followers, but just never got around to doing it.
I’d like to give a huge thanks and shoutout to my friend, Emily @ThatWeirdGirlLife for tagging me. She’s awesome and so is her blog so please check it out and read her post here.
As Emily said, this is inspired by the 73 Vogue Questions you’ll see celebrities do on Youtube, but a blogger version.
The Questions
1.) What Is Your Usual Starbucks Order?
I don’t drink coffee so I could get a frappuccino, an iced tea, or a cappuccino if I feel like it.
2.) What does your workstation look like right now?
A bit of an organized mess. I don’t have a specific work station, like my room which is too distracting, so I do most of my writing in the living room and keep my writing stuff with me like notebooks, pens, a water bottle, charger, earphones in a lap desk.
3.) All-time favorite food?
Probably seafood anything. It used to be my grandma’s ham pot pie but I don’t eat ham anymore…
4.) Favorite Author?
An author I love as of late is Nikita Gill. I love her poetry books.
5.) What do you think of open relationships?
Not for me but you do you.
6.) Favorite video game?
I grew up obsessed with Yoshi’s Island for the Gameboy and I still enjoy playing it. I also love playing The Sims.
7.) Guilty pleasure treat?
Anything red velvet or peanut butter. Cheesecake Factory cheesecake is a once-a-year treat I give myself. I also discovered a raspberry glazed pie at a local craft show and I’m going to try to recreate it on Thanksgiving because I love it so much.
8.) Favorite film?
I was just thinking about this the other day and I don’t think I have one.
9.) Favorite book?
I can’t answer that either.
10.) Twitter or Instagram?
I do enjoy taking pictures, but Twitter.
11.) Desktop or laptop?
Laptop
12.) Best advice you’ve ever received?
I’ve gotten a lot of writing advice over the years but my mom always told me, when I got a rejection that, “I’m just one agent closer to the right one.”
I also took this class in college and the professor told us to always take one day off a week for yourself, which I still follow.
13.) What project are you working on right now?
As I’m writing this, I’m participating in NaNoWriMo (as I’m editing this, I won NaNoWriMo) and writing the second book in a series I’d love to get published. I’m hoping it will spark my love for the first book again. Also my blog.
14.) Favorite color?
Purple
15.) Did you get good grades at school?
I’d say I did very well excluding Algebra 2 and Physics.
Physics…
16.) Dream job?
Full-time writer, specifically an author.
17.) Played any sports?
That’s almost all I did growing up. My main three were softball, basketball, and volleyball but I’ve played soccer (football for everyone out of the US), cheerleading, tumbling, dance, and always liked gym class.
18.) Do you have a degree?
Nope, I dropped out. I went in undecided any way and took a semester of computer engineering (a major mistake) but I have some writing certificates.
19.) Nationality?
American, although I wouldn’t call myself very patriotic.
20.) What is your favorite kind of blog post to do?
Something different from reviews all the time. I like making lists but I used to make posts about my favorite female fictional characters or just ranted about a TV show. I need to get back into that.
Also tags.
21.) What do you like to collect?
Pressed pennies. I’ve been collecting them since I was 10? Every time I go somewhere and see a machine, I have to get one. I have a full book filled and half of another.
22.) Describe yourself in three words.
Creative, hard-working, and nice.
23.) If you were a rapper what would your rapper name be?
Oh, let’s not think about that.
24.) Who was the last person you dmed?
A blogger friend on Twitter.
25.) What’s on the top of your wishlist right now?
All my loans paid off. Seriously.
26.) Hogwarts house?
Slytherin!
27.) How many tattoos do you have?
Six, but I plan on getting another in a few months.
28.) What are you most grateful for this year?
Getting out of the house more. It sounds like an exaggeration but going to different places, like an art show in the summer or just traveling to Pittsburgh more, concerts, broadway shows, a resort. I’m pretty proud of myself for that and the year hasn’t even ended yet.
29.) What’s the best thing that’s happened to you this month?
Probably getting help at a work. I haven’t been as stressed and am getting the hours I want.
30.) What’s the best thing that’s happened to you today?
I made a successful cheesecake for my dad’s birthday.
31.) What’s the best thing ever?
Heating pads…they’ve been my friends over the years from back injuries.

Spring, but like late spring, like May into June when it’s not too hot but over those shitty months of late winter.
So, spring.
33.) Favorite holiday?
Christmas
34.) What fictional character do you relate to the most?
These questions are always so hard for me. I always want to believe I’m like Dorothy from The Golden Girls, but I feel like I’m more like Rose.
35.) Do you like surprises?
Sure! I can’t say too many have happened in my life, but they’re nice when they do.
36.) What’s the biggest surprise you ever got?
Referring to the above question…in 2012 my parents surprised my sister and me with Pittsburgh Penguins tickets and I definitely wasn’t expecting that.
37.) What’s a surprise that’s made you cry?
Failing my last semester of college…you didn’t say it had to be a good surprise.
38.) What’s the best surprise you’ve ever given anyone?
Other than some really good presents over the years, when I was 13 my family had this big party for my grandparent’s 50 year anniversary. I remember having to keep it a secret. I don’t think I did much, but I was a part of it.
There are some coming in the future but seeing as my mom reads these…I can’t say.
39.) Do you like muffins?
Blueberry is my favorite.
40.) Do you cook often?
Well, it’s literally my job…but at home, I will. Not as often as I’d like, but I’m trying to more. I’m usually baking.

I don’t think I could pick one. I love cheesecake and like I said before, anything red velvet or peanut butter.
42.) Is there a dessert you don’t like?
I haven’t met one I don’t like…I’m honestly trying but I can’t think of one. I’m not a huge fan of desserts with nuts.

48.) Best animated film?
I love The Lion King, but also The Incredibles, Mulan, Hercules, Toy Story, Aladdin…
49.) What has a guy done or said to impress you?
When I dated, I dated “athletes” (I use the term loosely) so they’d try to show off at games or in gym class. It was pretty underwhelming.
50.) The best thing to do on a first date?
I’d love to go somewhere fun like an amusement park or a place like Dave & Busters.
51.) The worst thing to do on a first date?
Insult my BB8 tattoo. Or any of my tattoos but if you give me a look when I tell you my tattoo is from Star Wars, I’ll probably walkout.
52.) What’s the funniest pick-up line a guy can use on a girl?
It’s not the funniest but I remember this stupid one guys in my class just loved to use when we were 15.
“What’s an Australian kiss? It’s like a French kiss but down under.”
I hate I remember that.
53.) Best comic book character?
If you’ve read my posts before, you’ll know I love Karolina Dean from Marvel’s Runaways. I also love Nimona from the book Nimona.
54.) What are three things that are always in your handbag?
Aside from the usual wallet, phone, keys, etc. I’d say hand sanitizer, pens, and my reusable straw.
55.) Favorite drink?
I love tea, but flavored, so like Pure Leaf or local brands. Some of my favorite flavors are mango, peach, raspberry, and lemon. It’s a problem.

You’re suggesting I can act…
57.) Kittens or puppies?
Sorry, but puppies (I love both though!)

60.) What kind of foundation do you use?
I’m looking around for something new, but Too-Faced has been my favorite.
61.) Blow-dry or air dry?
Definitely air dry. If you knew how long it took to blow dry my hair…
62.) Who is your fashion icon?
I don’t think I have one but there are some designers I like. I’d love for Christian Siriano to make me something one day. It could be sweatpants for all I care.
63.) Favorite Disney character?
I remember always liking Flounder from The Little Mermaid, but I grew up loving Marie from The Aristocats. But I also like Mulan and Meg from Hercules.
64.) What are you doing tomorrow?
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, so not much except hanging out with my family and eating.
65.) Movie you laughed the hardest through?
I remember seeing Blades of Glory in theaters when it came out and laughing nonstop through it. I was also 12? 13?
66.) A movie that made you cry?
I literally just watched Klaus on Netflix and it made me cry numerous times. I have no idea why. I guess I was in a mood.
67.) If you could sing a duet with anyone who would it be?
Freddie Mercury because he could just sing over me.
68.) If your life was a song what would the title be?
“She’s Trying Her Best”
69.) What’s your favorite animal?
I have many favorites, but I love big cats, tigers are my favorite though. I also love penguins, dogs, tapirs, pigs, chinchillas, hedgehogs…
70.) Favorite illustrator?
Can I say HISHE on Youtube? I love watching their videos and the animation is so good.
71.) The person you want to have coffee with?
As cliche as it sounds being a writer, I’d love to meet Stephen King and soak up all his writing advice. And he could bring his corgi. And we could complain about the government together. Oh and he watches The 100 and we would talk about that.
I would also like to meet Danai Gurira.
72.) What’s the country you wish to visit?
I want to visit Canada so bad and I hope it happens next year. I also want to visit Australia, Greece, and Japan. And the U.K. And Spain. And Iceland.
73.) Best way to decompress?
Getting home after a day of work, wrapping myself in a blanket, maybe putting the heating pad on, and doing pretty much nothing. I also need to get back into crochet because it’s helped my anxiety over the years. Or video games. Or watching videos.

This was so much fun to read! I’m so happy you did the tag! I always love reading tags like this from other bloggers- I end up learning so much about them! Like for example, you have a BB8 tattoo?? That’s amazing! And you have great taste in Disney characters AND Disney movies too! And thank goodness you like muffins. I wouldn’t trust anyone who doesn’t like muffins. They’d have to be a cyborg or something. I had such a great time reading this!!
