You were right… what you told me over the radio that night. Not everyone deserves a happy ending.
Let’s forget the horrendous cinematic travesty that was Daredevil (2003) and move onto the show that gave Daredevil his name back.

And sometimes, very rarely, impossible things just happen and we call them miracles.

For starters can I say I love Doctor Who. Nine was my first doctor, but I truly fell in love with Ten, and Eleven comes pretty close. As for classic Who I’ve moved around a lot, but I’ve seen all the Doctors in action.
With the new series starting today I decided to state my opinions on the matter, because they’ve really changed over the past year.

As some of you may know (because I talk about it more than my love for TV shows) I went through a period while at college where I hated everything. I didn’t want to be there and used TV to escape the urge to drop out. During the time I went through Supernatural I also added Game of Thrones to my list. It was probably the show I got through the fastest.
Harry Potter was the first fandom I became apart of. I was around five when I checked out the first book and vaguely remember my mom reading me the first page. Fast forward eleven freaking years when the series technically ended with the movie. I knew about the deaths, cried over them before, but seeing it onscreen made it so much worse (knowing this was the end added to it.) And I’m not lying, I still cry over some of them.
The best way to show your love for those who are gone is to tell their stories.

My happy ending is finally feeling at home in the world. Robin is just a part of that world. – Regina

With Once Upon a Time returning soon let’s go back and remember how we got here in the first place.
And by here, I mean here:
When we hit our lowest point, we are opened to the greatest change.
A continuation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, we are introduced to an older Avatar, Korra who doesn’t take any shit and speaks what’s on her mind.
In the darkest times, hope is something you give yourself. – Iroh

What could possibly go wrong when a show has endless possibilities about myths and monsters? How about the treatment of its characters (especially women), filler episodes, and focusing on the same shit every damn season.
Who we are and who we need to be to survive are very different things.
