Back to Hogwarts Tag

*Cue me having “Back to Hogwarts” from A Very Potter Musical stuck in my head.*

The Questions

Have to go shopping in Diagon Alley! What store do you go to first? 

I think everyone’s answer is going to be Ollivanders. I feel like once you get your wand, then it starts to feel real. Then I’d go to the Owl Emporium or Magical Menagerie for my pet. I still don’t know if I’d have an owl or cat.

You’re on the train! What are you getting from the trolley? 

A licorice wand.

It’s time for the welcome feast! Which house table are you at?

I’m a proud Slytherin (although sometimes I get Hufflepuff.)

You get an elective this year! What will it be?

To steal from Megan’s answer, Care of Magical Creatures, no doubt. I love the creatures in the Harry Potter Universe, which is why I enjoy Fantastic Beasts (the first one) so much.

Or Divination. 

You’ve got a break between classes! What will you be doing?

Quidditch. I always played sports in school so I’d probably want to be on the team. I’d be a Chaser or Keeper.

You get to go to Hogsmeade this year! Where do you go first?

Next to Honeydukes, I’d go to Dogweed and Deathcap. I feel like I’d be really into Herbology.

You’re meeting up with friends to hang out! Where in the castle are you all going to chill? 

If not the library (nerd) probably the Slytherin common room. I LOVE that it’s underwater and I’d probably stare out the windows all day.

The end of year exams are coming up. What test will you do the best at? 

Either Potions or Herbology. I like to bake so I could probably do well in Potions and I like plants…I can’t pick one answer for any of these.

    This was such a fun post! I’m a Ravenclaw myself, but I totally understand getting multiple houses. I can never decide if I’d want an owl or a cat either! Owls are so cool, but cats seem like you could see them more. Idk. I love all your answers, and you seem ready to return to Hogwarts! 😂🎃

    I’m not a die-hard Harry Potter fan and haven’t read the books in years but I’ve binge watched the movies several times so maybe I’ll give this a go, thank you for the nomination. I’ll have to research my answers since I’m not a lore expert.
